25% Of Travelers Pretend To Sleep To Avoid Chit-Chat

A Staysure survey of 2,000 air travelers found that 25% of respondents have pretended to sleep to avoid chit-chat with a stranger. 17% avoid any acknowledgement entirely, but 37% are happy to talk to the stranger seated next to them. The biggest flying irritations are: children kicking the back of your chair; crying children; seat reclining; drunk passengers; and use of devices without headphones. "Many people can end up a little annoyed on this travel leg of the trip," a Staysure spokesperson said. "However, once the flight is out of the way, you feel like you can really get on and enjoy your holiday." (Talking Points)
