A survey of 2,000 Americans discovered a preference for some strange and saucy combinations: French fries with tartar sauce and scrambled eggs with barbecue sauce were both mentioned as unusual yet delicious pairings. 73% of respondents add some kind of sauce to French fries, 67% would put sauce on chicken nuggets, and 61% reach for a bottle of sauce when they're getting ready to chow down on a hot dog.
